Gujarat’s Rising Skating Star Parth Shah Receives Jaydeep Singh Junior Award
Ahmedabad – A teenage speed skating prodigy from Adani Sportsline Academy, Parth Shah, has been conferred the Jaydeep Singh Junior Award by the Gujarat government for his outstanding performances on both state and national platforms.
Shah first laced up skates at the age of six and entered competitive training in 2016. Over the years, he has amassed a host of state medals and represented Gujarat in five national championships, displaying a blend of speed and technique.
His achievements have also secured him two Center of Excellence scholarships, highlighting his potential for future international competition. The award carries a monetary prize of ₹10,000.
The accolade was presented by Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghvi during a ceremony in Gandhinagar on August 12.
Commenting on the honor, Shah said, "Receiving this award motivates me to keep pushing my limits. I thank the Gujarat government and Adani Sportsline for believing in my journey."
Adani Sportsline’s chief business officer praised Shah’s work ethic, noting, "Parth exemplifies the dedication we aim to instil in all our athletes. The state’s acknowledgment encourages us to continue providing world‑class training and exposure."
