Girls Participation Surges as Under‑19 Teams Double

Female representation has risen dramatically since the cup’s inaugural season. Teams of girls now constitute roughly 40 percent of all participants, with the under‑19 girls bracket featuring more than 16 squads—double the number recorded in the first edition.
