From Captaincy to Administration: Ganguly’s Journey Celebrated by ICC

Sourav Ganguly’s cricketing résumé spans more than a decade of international play. Debuting in ODIs in 1992 and Tests in 1996, he amassed 7,212 runs in 113 Tests with 16 centuries and 35 fifties, and 11,363 runs in 311 ODIs with 22 hundreds and 72 fifties. In addition to his batting, he claimed 32 Test wickets and 100 ODI wickets. As captain, he led India to its first overseas Test win, secured the NatWest Series in England, shared the Champions Trophy in 2002 and reached the final of the 2003 World Cup.
