The journey to international shooting stages was far from smooth for Sonam. Professional rifles, ammunition and accessories command high prices, and the lockdown period strained her family's finances. Rather than abandon her goals, Sonam’s father liquidated a property to fund the required equipment. "It was a big decision for the family, but my father has always stood by me," she recalled.
