Farhan and Sadakat combine for 161 runs as Pakistan seal series win

The second T20 encounter between Pakistan and Sri Lanka at Ravulapalli concluded with Pakistan posting 215/3, thanks to a massive 161‑run partnership between captain Farhan Farooq and Maz Sadakat. The duo's on‑field chemistry turned the game in Pakistan's favour, delivering an 82‑run win.

Fakhar Zaman gave the innings a quick start, adding 22 runs off 17 balls with four fours before getting out. Farhan then took charge, blasting 73 runs with a blend of five sixes and four fours, before his dismissal.

Sadakat, who fell just four runs short of his maiden fifty‑four hundred, smashed 96 runs from 51 balls, peppered with seven sixes and six fours. His partnership with Farhan lifted the total to 143 before the captain's wicket fell.

A late surge from Hassan Nawaz, who scored an unbeaten 19 from nine balls, helped Pakistan reach the final score of 215 for three wickets.

Sri Lanka's reply fell flat at 133 all out, with Chamindu Vikirasinghe leading the run‑scoring with 29. Mohammad Imran Ranhawa's three‑wicket spell and Salman Mirza's two wickets capped a disciplined Pakistani bowling effort.

The victory puts Pakistan in a commanding 2‑0 position ahead of the final match scheduled for October 13.
