Ex‑player Kalyaan Krishna Takes Charge of State Cricket Management

The Andhra Cricket Association has appointed former fast bowler Doddapneni Kalyaan Krishna as its new Director of Cricket Operations. Confirmed at the AGM held in Mangalagiri, the move is intended to reinforce ACA’s operational framework and nurture emerging talent. Krishna, 42, thanked the association’s leadership for the opportunity, recalling his own experience of playing 51 Ranji Trophy matches and 42 List A games. He will work with head coach Gary Stead on the 2026‑27 domestic season strategy and aim to broaden access to cricket for both genders while producing players capable of representing India.
