Eisha Singh settles for silver after dramatic shoot‑off in 25m pistol

Eisha Singh narrowly missed the gold medal in the women's 25‑metre pistol event, losing to China’s Jiao Jiariuxuan in a tense shoot‑off. Both shooters were tied at 38 hits after 50 shots, matching the Asian Games record and forcing a sudden‑death round.

In the first shoot‑off, each hit four of five targets; Jiao then secured the win in the second round, 3‑2. This silver marks Singh’s second consecutive Asian Games podium finish in the event, following a runner‑up performance at Hangzhou 2023.
