East Zone Announces 15‑Member Squad Ahead of Dilip Trophy Kick‑off

Ahead of the Dilip Trophy that kicks off on 23 August, East Zone released a 15‑player roster blending experience with fresh talent.

Captaincy has been handed to wicket‑keeper batsman Ishan Kisan, while 15‑year‑old Vaibhav Suryavanshi takes the vice‑captaincy.

The pace department is bolstered by senior bowler Mohammad Shami, who will share duties with Mekesh Kumar and the emerging pacer Abhijit Sarkar.

The batting order features Abhimanyu Eshwaran, Shahbaz Ahmed, Anukul Roy, Sudip Kumar Ghrami, Virat Singh, Suraj Sindhu Jaiswal, Subhranshu Senapati, Danish Das and Shikhar Mohan.

Standby resources include Ayush Loharuka, Shridam Paul, Sambit S. Baral, Sharandeep Singh and Swastik Samal, ready to step in if needed.
