Harshit Rana is no stranger to disciplinary action on the field, but the Delhi Premier League (DPL) 2025 saw him face consequences alongside two other cricketers, Krish Yadav and Yajas Sharma. Yadav and Sharma were found guilty under Level 1 of Article 2.3 of the DPL code of conduct for using aggressive or obscene gestures. They admitted their offenses to the match referee, resulting in a 20% deduction from their match fees. Rana, the captain of North Delhi Strikers, was found guilty under Level 1 of Article 2.5 of the DPL code of conduct for using language that insulted a player during the match. He also admitted his offense to the match referee and was fined 10% of his match fee.
