DG Police K L N Rao Announces Smart Classrooms and Sports Complex at GICPA

The DG of Crime, K L N Rao, emphasized that sports are an effective tool for building physical stamina, team spirit and discipline. He said the GICPA campus will host zone‑wise Kabaddi and tug‑of‑war contests for prison department officers and staff during the National Sports Day celebrations. The upgraded infrastructure will also support a nine‑month basic training programme for new recruits, ensuring they receive both academic and athletic instruction in a modern environment.
