Delhi Set to Welcome Global Badminton Elite in August
From August 17 to 23, 2026, the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium will become the epicentre of badminton as the BWF World Championship arrives in Delhi. The Indian Olympic Association has opened its doors to the sport's elite, underscoring a dedication to both the Olympic movement and the broader growth of badminton.
P.T. Ushas, IOA President, remarked that the tournament marks a significant milestone in India's sporting journey, highlighting the country's ability to host events at the highest level.
