Stadium Upgrades Worth Over ₹20 Crore Ready Delhi for First BWF Event in 17 Years

Following concerns raised during the India Open, the Badminton Association of India and the Sports Authority of India invested more than 20 crore rupees to enhance the Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Improvements include better ventilation, upgraded flooring, and a dedicated lounge that offers 24‑hour food and beverage service, as well as a sanitary pad machine for female athletes.
