CSA Confirms Revised Itinerary Ahead of First ICC Women’s Champions Trophy

Folasade Mosie, the chief executive of Cricket South Africa, welcomed the updated schedule that now includes a T20 International series for the Indian women’s team. The change aligns the tour with local holiday periods and guarantees that the Proteas women will have ample high‑quality match practice before the ICC Women’s Champions Trophy, set to be held in Sri Lanka in February 2027.

Mosie highlighted that India remains one of the strongest cricketing nations, and facing them in Tests, ODIs and T20s will provide South Africa with a robust preparation platform. The revised calendar promises competitive fixtures from 9 December through 30 December, covering a Test, three ODIs and three T20s.
