Crouse excluded from Pakistan Test and upcoming ODI series
Bradley Crouse was promptly dropped from England’s squad for the second Test against Pakistan after the Derby incident. He has not featured in any international match since that decision.
His last appearance for England came in January during the final Test of the Ashes series against Australia. Subsequent injury kept him out of the early part of the English summer season, but he later returned to help Derby win promotion in the County Championship Division One, a campaign in which the side remained unbeaten.
Despite his domestic resurgence, Crouse’s options for the upcoming One‑Day International tri‑series in Pakistan have also vanished. England’s white‑ball captain, Harry Brook, previously suggested that Crouse needed a break from international cricket to address personal and professional matters.
