Conscient Sports Dominates RFYS Delhi Centre Finals
Delhi Centre hosted the final day of the RFYS 2026-27 season tournament on Saturday, where Conscient Sports and India United Football Academy claimed titles after closely contested matches.
Conscient Sports won the Under-8 and Under-10 championships, while India United Football Academy triumphed in the Under-12 category. The tournament covered three age groups, and Conscient Sports proved to be the standout club, winning two of them.
In the Under-8 final, Conscient Sports defeated R&R Football Club 3-1. The club also won the Under-10 category, recording a convincing 4-0 victory over Khel Khel Foundation.
The Under-12 final was a tightly fought affair. India United Football Academy beat Bhagat Singh Football Academy 3-1 to lift the title.
The results came as part of a broader grassroots initiative organised by Reliance Foundation. Across the country, 54 RFDL teams and more than 500 RFYS teams are taking part this season, with over 5,500 matches scheduled in football's grassroots tournaments. The structure provides a clear pathway for young players. They begin in the Under-8 to Under-12 leagues, progress through the Under-14 and Under-18 leagues, and reach the Under-21 Development League, which serves as a key route to the senior national team and club football.
