"If a child begins formal cricket coaching at eight or nine and reaches the national side by fifteen, the talent factor is undeniable," Singh said. "What matters equally is the relentless hard work and the constant monitoring by his mentors."

Since his debut, Vaibhav has accumulated 42 runs in three senior matches – a modest start that Singh believes will improve as the youngster receives targeted guidance.
