Rudraksh Patil’s journey from the disciplined Bhopal shooting camp to the Nagoya shooting range epitomised preparation meeting opportunity. On day three of the 2026 Asian Games, Patil helped the Indian men’s team secure a silver medal in the 10‑metre air rifle event and later added an individual bronze. He said the simulated crowd noise at Bhopal gave him a realistic feel of the noisy arena, allowing him to treat the competition floor like home ground.

Patil highlighted that a shooter’s true test is delivering a powerful performance when the stadium erupts, stating that such scenarios separate the best from the rest. He expressed his intention to honour his country with the medals and praised the support system that made the achievement possible.
