She mentioned arriving to collect the cash reward announced after the team's World Cup triumph and praised the opportunity for athletes from various disciplines to gather and celebrate together. Harmanpreet expressed gratitude for the recognition that rewards dedication and performance. Wrestler Aditya Kundu echoed similar sentiments, calling the unified award ceremony a welcome move that boosts morale and should become a regular feature. Archer Avneet Kaur thanked the Chief Minister and the government for creating platforms that motivate athletes to aim higher. Fencer Jagmeet Kaur noted visible improvements in training infrastructure under the current administration. With a total prize pool of ₹32.05 crore being distributed, the event underscores Punjab's rising investment in its sports ecosystem.
