Bengaluru FC Sets High Bar as Delhi’s First ISL Challenge

The upcoming clash against Bengaluru FC marks Sporting Club Delhi’s first major test in the new ISL season. Bengaluru, with a title win in 2018-19 and two runner‑up finishes, is among the league’s most successful outfits. SCD’s management sees the fixture as an opportunity to measure the squad’s progress after a busy pre‑season. CEO Dhruv Sud highlighted the importance of a strong start, saying the club aims to build a connection with Delhi’s football fans and create a source of pride. The side is eager to prove that no opponent is insurmountable in the Indian Super League.
