BCCI Steps In Amid ARCA Turmoil, Names Coaching Staff and Guest Player

With the Arunachal Pradesh Cricket Association embroiled in a legal battle that prevented the side from playing its opening Ranji fixture, the BCCI intervened to ensure player interests were protected. An independent selection committee headed by former Assam cricketer Satya Gopal Chakravarti conducted trials at Delhi Public School, Itanagar. The committee appointed Sujoy Tarafdar as head coach and added Delhi’s Salil Malhotra to the Ranji squad as a guest player, aiming to give the team a chance to focus on performance in the remaining domestic season.
