Bangladesh to field separate captains for T20 and ODI formats

Starting this season, Bangladesh will operate with two distinct captains for its women's white‑ball teams. Nahida Akhtar will lead the T20 International squad, while Nigar Sultana will retain the One Day International captaincy. The decision follows Nigar's decision to relinquish the T20 role to focus on her batting after the Asian Games. Board officials believe the split will allow each captain to specialise in the nuances of their format and strengthen overall team performance.
