From Bronze to Gold: Aman Sehrawat’s Comeback at Asian Games 2026

Aman Sehrawat’s journey from a bronze medal at the 2023 Asian Games to a gold medal in 2026 showcases the impact of disciplined preparation. The wrestler entered the final against the North Korean champion with a clear directive from his coach: do not study the opponent’s video, trust his own skill set, and execute the game plan. When the match slipped to 6-1 in his favor, the champion rallied to 7-6, but Sehrawat’s confidence never wavered. He seized the final points, finishing 11-7, and now aims to convert his Olympic bronze into gold at Paris.
