After a spectacular 125‑run blitz that left the Jharkhand bowling attack reeling, Salil Aroda is eyeing a spot in India’s Test side.

The 23‑year‑old accumulated 358 runs in eight innings during the Saeed Mushteak Ali Trophy, topping Punjab’s charts.

His aggressive knock – 125 not out off 45 balls – was followed by a 30‑run, ten‑ball cameo in the 2026 IPL death‑overs, confirming his capability to accelerate when required.

Aroda has also been a key figure in the Sher‑e‑Punjab T20 League, captaining the Ludhiana Lions in Arshdeep Singh’s absence and posting a quick 78 from 38 balls against Fazilka Falcons.
