Adam Hose Commits Future to Worcestershire Through 2029
Adam Hose has committed his immediate and long-term future to Worcestershire County Cricket Club after agreeing a new three-year contract that runs until at least 2029.
The right-handed batter, aged 33, has been with the county since 2023. In that time he has appeared in 96 matches across different formats.
He has become a central figure in the club's red-ball cricket and has also captained the Rapids in the T20 competition.
Worcestershire confirmed the agreement in a statement, saying it was pleased that Hose had extended his stay with the club.
Hose said the trust placed in him by the club and management was a major factor in his decision. He pointed to a strong sense of togetherness within the squad as another reason for staying.
He also said he wanted to live up to the belief shown in him over the next few years. He described a family atmosphere at the club, where teammates know one another well and this closeness is reflected in their cricket.
Hose stressed that the players fight for one another and that this spirit is clear when the team plays together.
His first-class record for Worcestershire stands at more than 2,400 runs from 46 matches, featuring two centuries and 14 fifties.
His career-best 266 against Hampshire in the 2025 season remains the highlight of his time with the club. The innings included 31 fours and seven sixes.
That knock also produced a club-record 395-run stand with Jake Libby, a partnership that underlined his value to the county's Championship effort.
In T20 cricket, Hose has scored seven half-centuries for the Rapids. His 95 off 51 balls against Notts Outlaws last June was pivotal in a memorable win and is considered one of his best performances for the team.
