Redressal of pension cases is being done online under e-fund

Redressal of pension cases of retiring government officers and employees is being done through online method. Thanks to your services, the Pension Management System is being operated from May 31, 2018. The pay scales recorded in the service book of the government servant are being approved by the Divisional Joint Director, Treasury, Accounts and Pension Office within the stipulated time on the basis of the entries made in the service book and the available records. Pension camps are being organized continuously in different districts of their division by the Divisional Joint Director, Fund Accounts and Pension Offices for quick redressal of problems and quick redressal of pension cases. Finance Instruction 28/2018 has been issued. Under which the time limit has been set for all the offices related to the disposal of the pension process. According to the instructions issued, it is mandatory to start the process of preparing the pension case of the concerned employee 2 years before the retirement of the government servant and send the case to the Divisional Joint Director, Treasury Accounts and Pension 3 months before. It is the responsibility of the head of the office of the concerned retired government servant to send the pension case. On receipt of the case, the Divisional Joint Director, Treasury Accounts and Pension resolves the case within 30 days and issues a PPO and the case is sent to the Treasury Officer. Along with this, the pensioner is informed about the pension case through SMS. In case of objection raised by the Divisional Joint Director, Treasury Accounts and Pension in any case, it is mandatory for the concerned head of the office to resolve the objection within 15 days and send the case back to the Divisional Joint Director, Treasury Accounts and Pension as per the financial instructions. . Due to the delay in redressal of the objection raised by the pension office on behalf of the heads of the offices related to the pensioners in the pension cases, the situation of delay in the redressal of the pension cases is created. For redressal of pension cases, the helpline number is available in the public domain under the pension option under e-Kosh and in case of any problem in the redressal of pension cases, there is a provision for online complaint by login on the portal for pensioners.
