Raipur Corporation set a target of Rs 131 crore revenue collection,

Revenue is being recovered by the Municipal Corporation in the capital. A target of Rs 131 crore has been set for this year. The corporation has so far recovered only Rs 60 crore. Due to being behind in recovery, the municipal team is now handing over property demand notice in every ward, so that people can easily collect tax.

Senior officers of the corporation are monitoring daily. In case of absence of taxpayers in the house by all revenue teams of all the zones, Property Demand Notice is being pasted at the door of the house, so that there is no inconvenience while paying tax.

In all the 70 wards, a campaign is being conducted by the teams of Revenue Department of all the zones of Nigam Raipur in the interest of the Municipal Corporation in the presence of Revenue Inspector, Assistant Revenue Inspectors including the leadership of Zone Commissioner and Zone Assistant Revenue Officer. In this, the revenue department team of Municipal Corporation Zone I collected revenue of three lakh four thousand 857 rupees from 71 taxpayers.
