INDI alliance wants to rotate the Prime Minister’s post among its leaders every year, claims PM Modi – The Economic Times Video

During an election rally on April 29, 2024, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about the opposition “INDI alliance” and their plan to rotate their leaders in the post of Prime Minister for one year each. He questioned whether the public would support such a notion, expressing concerns about handing over such a large country to someone whose face is unknown. Modi claimed that if the INDI alliance comes to power, they will work with the “one year, one PM” formula during their five-year term. He also accused the opposition of dividing the country to grab power and introducing a new formula of having five prime ministers in five years. Modi emphasised that he has been in power for the last ten years and questioned the opposition’s leadership abilities.
