Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge on Friday appointed former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel and CWC member Syed Naseer Hussain as new AICC general secretaries with charges of Punjab and J&K, respectively, replacing Devendra Yadav and Bharatsinh Solanki. He also named Rahul Gandhi campers Krishna Allavaru as AICC in-charge of Bihar, replacing Mohan Prakash and K Raju for Jharkhand in place of Ghulam Ahmed Mir.Other new AICC in-charges include Rajani Patil for Himachal Pradesh in place of Rajeev Shukla; BK Hariprasad for Haryana in place of Deepak Babaria; Harish Chaudhary for Madhya Pradesh, Girish Chodankar for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry and Ajay Kumar Lallu for Odisha. Meenakshi Natarajan will be AICC in-charge of Telangana while Saptagiri Sankar Ulaka will be AICC in-charge of Manipur, Tripiura, Sikkim and Nagaland.
