New Delhi. In the time of Coronavirus Pandemic, the government has taken a big step to facilitate air travel. Passengers flying out of India in Vande Bharat Mission- VBM flights or air bubble countries are no longer required to register with the Ministry of Aviation first. Such people can book tickets directly from the respective airlines without registering with the Ministry of Aviation. The exemption has come to the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), which states that people coming to India under the air bubble system do not register themselves abroad with the Indian Mission.
On 22 August, the Home Ministry implemented the Standard Operating Protocol (SOP) for special flights operated via the Vande Bharat Mission and the Air Bubble. According to the SOP, the category of persons eligible for travel will be allowed by the Ministry of Home Affairs from time to time.
