Following an unusually high turnout of customers at the State Bank of India branch in Rajmahal, Sahibganj, local administration and police have heightened security measures. The influx of individuals prompted a swift response from authorities to ensure public safety and the security of the financial institution.
A police team conducted a surprise inspection of the bank premises. Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Amit Kumar Singh, Station House Officer Hasnain Ansari led the inspection, scrutinizing the bank’s security apparatus. Branch Manager Prashant Saurav, Accountant Uttam Mahto, and Field Officer Ashish Kumar were present during the review.
The inspection focused on the operational status of CCTV cameras and alarm systems installed within the bank. Officers meticulously verified that all security equipment was fully functional and ready for immediate use. This proactive approach aims to deter any potential threats and ensure a secure banking environment for all patrons.
Furthermore, the police team engaged with individuals observed loitering suspiciously in the vicinity of the bank, conducting necessary inquiries. The Station House Officer also issued clear directives to the on-duty security personnel, emphasizing the need for constant vigilance and adherence to security protocols. Any lapse in security will not be tolerated, a stern message was conveyed.
