धनवार, Giridih: Concerns are mounting in Giridih district as local political parties, CPI(ML) and RJD, are protesting against the Station House Officer (SHO) of Dhanwar police station, Satyendra Kumar Pal. The protestors allege that SHO Pal is fostering criminal activities and mistreating elected officials and the public who visit the police station. This widespread discontent has led to a significant demonstration. A protest march was organized in Dhanwar market, where hundreds of CPI(ML) and RJD supporters gathered. They voiced strong slogans against SHO Satyendra Kumar Pal, demanding immediate action. Former MLA of Dhanwar, Rajkumar Yadav, was among the prominent figures leading the march and voicing the community’s grievances. The protesters firmly believe that SHO Pal is actively supporting land mafias and individuals with criminal backgrounds. They also highlighted instances of disrespect and misconduct directed towards ordinary citizens and public representatives seeking assistance at the police station. The primary demand from the protestors is the swift dismissal and prosecution of SHO Satyendra Kumar Pal to restore faith in law enforcement.
