PM Narendra Modi, who addressed around 50,000 Indian-Americans at NRG Auditorium in Texas at the Howdy Modi event on Sunday, has responded to Rishi Kapoor’s tweet for encouraging him for his speech on social media.
PM Modi took to Twitter and wrote, “Rishi Ji, thanks for your enthusiastic encouragement. We just missed each other by a few days since you recently left for India from the USA. I pray for your good health. Looking forward to greater participation of yours on social media. @chintskap”
Rishi, who recently returned to India after his 11-month-long cancer treatment in New York, felt proud of PM Modi representing India in Houston. “#howdymodi Go Modi – Go Trump – Houston, US. Proud of our being. Proud of the community. Proud of India,” Rishi had tweeted.
Not only Rishi, PM Modi took some time out to reply to tweets from other Bollywood celebrities as well. Ajay Devgn, Karan Johar and Prasoon Joshi also received thank-you notes from the Prime Minister in separate tweets.
“Indeed, @ajaydevgn. The meeting of the hearts of the people of two of the world’s leading democracies in Houston is a new milestone in the India-USA friendship,” PM Modi replied to Devgn’s tweet.
