Government oil companies today increased the price of petrol by 20 paise and the price of diesel by 23 paise. There was peace in the price of petrol for 48 days. However, after that the increase was halted in 12 installments. 1.80 paise per liter of petrol has become expensive in these days.
At the same time, after staying in Delhi from August 3, the price of diesel was either cut or its prices remained stable. This made diesel 3.10 per liter more cheaper. After this, its price also did not increase for 48 days. But in the last 12 installments, the price of diesel only increased after stopping. Diesel has become expensive by Rs 2.61 per liter in these days.
