A significant educational fair was organized at Modern Public School in Koderma, aiming to provide crucial career guidance to students. The event was inaugurated by Koderma MLA Dr. Neera Yadav, who officially opened the fair by cutting the ribbon. This initiative sought to empower students with the information needed to make informed decisions about their future academic and professional paths.
The fair saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 25 colleges and institutions from across the nation, all present to offer insights into higher education and career prospects. Around 1500 students from various schools in the Koderma district attended, exploring the diverse opportunities presented.
Prominent institutions that set up stalls included Global Research of Institutions (Haryana), Amity University (Jharkhand), Institute of Engineering and Management (Kolkata), Jain University (Bangalore), IILM University (Greater Noida), Marwadi University (Gujarat), DBS Global University (Dehradun), Chandigarh Group of Colleges (Punjab), Roorkee Institute of Technology (Roorkee), and many others. Students had the chance to interact directly with representatives from these esteemed universities and colleges.
The fair proved to be an invaluable resource for the students. They visited various university stalls to gather detailed information on post-12th-grade education, selecting subjects aligned with their aptitudes, future career possibilities, and employment opportunities. This direct engagement allowed them to ask questions and resolve their doubts, paving the way for clearer career aspirations.
MLA Dr. Neera Yadav emphasized the importance of organizing such educational fairs regularly, stating they are vital for students to make sound career choices. She highlighted that selecting the right stream based on individual abilities and skills is key to future success, and these events provide excellent opportunities for such guidance. The school principal, Gurucharan Verma, noted the students’ satisfaction with the answers they received regarding higher education, expressing confidence in their ability to move forward in the right direction. School Director Sangeeta Sharma echoed these sentiments, deeming the fair highly beneficial and promising more student-centric programs in the future. The collective effort of the entire school staff was instrumental in the event’s success.
