44,376 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported in the country on Wednesday and with this the total number of cases has increased to 92,22,216. This is the 18th consecutive day when less than 50 thousand cases have been reported in the country.
Earlier, on November 7, more than 50 thousand cases were registered. According to data released by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the total death toll has increased to 1,34,699 after 481 new deaths due to the virus in the last 24 hours. The number of active cases is 44,47,46.
A total of 86,42,771 patients in the country have recovered from the disease so far. The recovery rate of patients in the country is now 93.72 percent and the death rate is 1.46 percent.
Maharashtra, the most affected state in the country, has 84,238 active cases and 46,683 deaths have been reported so far. So far, 16,58,879 patients have been cured in the state. Apart from this, the maximum number of cases have been reported in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. The national capital is also seeing an increase in the number of cases. On Tuesday, there were 6,224 new cases and 109 deaths.
