A tragic road accident in Deoghar late Tuesday night has resulted in the death of 39-year-old Alok Kumar. The incident occurred around 10:45 PM on December 9th. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed at the Deoghar Nagar Police Station, bearing number 547/2025.
Eyewitness accounts suggest that Alok Kumar was waiting near Modern Public School for its gate to open. Tragically, a speeding car, identified as JH15M3310, struck him with immense force, throwing him to the ground. Locals quickly transported him to the hospital, but medical professionals declared him deceased upon arrival.
The FIR details indicate that the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident is reportedly a family member of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Rahul Chandravanshi. In addition to Chandravanshi, his brother, nephew, and several unknown individuals have also been named in the FIR as accused. The police have registered the case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including 281, 103, and 61(1)(b) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, and have commenced their investigation.
