A pivotal meeting of the Ranchi district unit of Hindi Sahitya Bharti was convened at Udaan IAS Academy in Ranchi. The gathering, held at Maa Parvati Complex, saw the presence of distinguished guests, including Ramnivas Shukla, Central General Secretary of International Hindi Sahitya Bharti, and Dr. Vasudev Prasad. The session focused on strengthening the organization and expanding its reach within the community.
Ramnivas Shukla elaborated on the core objectives and ongoing activities of Hindi Sahitya Bharti, emphasizing the critical need to increase membership to bolster the organization’s influence. He highlighted the importance of establishing and actively managing various sub-committees to drive specific initiatives. Shukla stressed the priority of regularly organizing events such as seminars, poetry recitals, birth anniversary celebrations of great personalities and litterateurs, and other creative and social programs.
Dr. Vasudev Prasad commended the literary and cultural endeavors undertaken by Hindi Sahitya Bharti, recognizing it as a powerful platform for promoting the Hindi language and its rich literary heritage. Balram Pathak, President of Ranchi District Hindi Sahitya Bharti, presided over the meeting and announced that district unit meetings will now be held monthly on a regular basis. He also outlined plans for an extensive membership drive aimed at broadening the organization’s base and engaging with college students through programs in their Hindi departments.
During the meeting, various organizational responsibilities were also allocated. Mamta Manish Sinha was appointed as the In-charge of the Poetry Platform Cell, Vishal Kumar as the President of the Teacher Cell, and Dr. Omprakash as the In-charge of the Teacher Forum. The event was attended by several other members, including District Secretary Sukumar Jha, Treasurer Tripureshwar Nath Mishra, and Nishant Kumar Pathak.
