Giridih city is taking significant steps to alleviate persistent traffic congestion, particularly around the S.J. Boss School area. Officials have conducted a thorough inspection of the Jhanda Maidan Road, a hotspot for traffic jams caused by numerous parked Toto-rickshaws. In a decisive move, authorities have cleared roadside encroachments, including numerous shops that had set up along the street, significantly improving traffic flow. The aim is to create designated parking zones for Totos and private vehicles to streamline movement and prevent future blockages. This initiative is expected to bring much-needed relief to commuters and residents alike, marking a positive stride towards a more organized urban transport system in Giridih. Further plans include relocating government offices to previously occupied buildings, further optimizing space utilization.
