Gopikandar Community Health Center in Dumka hosted a significant Antenatal Care (ANC) check-up drive on Tuesday, ensuring the well-being of expectant mothers. Under the supervision of Block Medical Officer Dr. Sumit Anand, a total of 126 pregnant women received comprehensive health assessments aimed at promoting safe and normal deliveries. The examinations included vital checks for weight, hemoglobin levels, HIV status, and blood pressure. Dr. Anand emphasized that these regular ANC check-ups are crucial for monitoring maternal and fetal health throughout pregnancy. Healthcare professionals provided essential medical advice tailored to each woman’s needs. Discussions covered vital aspects such as healthy living habits, hygiene practices, nutritional guidance, and precautions to be taken during pregnancy. The initiative saw the participation of Dr. Hemant Murmu, GNM Nayan Ranjana Murmu, Shweta Hansda, ANM Sonam Kumari, Sarita Tudu, and other dedicated health staff who facilitated the smooth execution of the check-up camp.
