A crucial meeting of the CPI-ML Kharsan Panchayat Committee and its leaders was held near the Kharsan Panchayat Bhavan in the Gawa block. The gathering, presided over by Sanjay Das and conducted by Pyara Singh, focused on preparations for the upcoming General Body meeting on December 18th and the martyrdom day of Comrade Mahendra Singh. Sakaldev Yadav, the party’s block secretary, was a prominent attendee and addressed the assembly.
Yadav highlighted Comrade Mahendra Singh as a symbol of the struggles of farmers, laborers, and oppressed classes. He emphasized Singh’s legacy of inspiring the public to fight against injustice, police brutality, and exploitative landlordism, originating from the Bagodar region. The block secretary also criticized the central government’s policies, denouncing them as “Hitler-like” and unacceptable. He urged farmers, laborers, students, and youth to gather in Bagodar on the martyrdom day to pledge their commitment and unite against anti-people policies.
The meeting was attended by various local representatives, including Kharsan Mukhiya representative Maksud Alam, Deputy Mukhiya representative Bhola Yadav, and Ward member Vinod Paswan, along with numerous women activists and party workers. A collective resolve was made to strengthen the organization and ensure the success of the planned events.
