Chhattisgarh Police Arrest Three for Brutal Couple Killing

Law enforcement officials in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district have successfully cracked a complex double murder case involving the slaying of a local couple. The incident was solved after hidden graves were accidentally discovered by a funeral party. Three individuals from the same village—Lakhiram, Raghuram, and Nakul Ram—have been arrested and are currently in police custody. According to reports, the victims were killed on June 6, 2026, using blunt objects. To avoid detection, the killers transported the bodies to the village crematorium under the cover of darkness, where they buried them in shallow graves. The Shobha police conducted a forensic exhumation to confirm the identities.
