Amidst biting cold and plummeting temperatures in Didiya village (Ward No. 3) of Medininagar Nagar Nigam, a heartwarming initiative brought much-needed relief. The ‘New Culture Society’ and ‘Sanskar’ organizations, in a joint effort, distributed blankets to hundreds of underprivileged individuals, showcasing a remarkable act of social service.
Leading the event, Ashish Bhardwaj, a prominent youth figure, addressed the attendees. He highlighted the consistent five-year tradition of such charitable endeavors during winter. Bhardwaj emphasized the organizations’ dedication, mentioning their nightly rounds even after midnight to check on and assist those sleeping on the city’s streets, referring to them as ‘our family members.’
Bhardwaj underscored the importance of altruism, stating that while material possessions can be taken away, the spirit of giving is an enduring human quality. He urged everyone to care for themselves and their neighbors as the cold intensifies, viewing the city as their shared home and its residents as their extended family. He expressed deep affection for the city and its people, finding fulfillment in being able to help positively. He proclaimed that true national service lies in serving one’s own community and expressed pride in supporting organizations like ‘Sanskar’ and ‘New Culture Society’ that are making a positive impact.
Vinod Agrawal, a distinguished guest, commended the organizations for their commendable efforts in reaching the needy and appealed for wider community support.
Representatives from the organizing bodies shared their commitment. Vishal Kumar, President of ‘New Culture Society,’ affirmed their dedication to bringing smiles to the faces of the most vulnerable, aiming to ensure no one remains without shelter during the harsh winter. Subhadra Dwivedi, Secretary of ‘Sanskar,’ reiterated their core principle of social upliftment, viewing the distribution of aid to the elderly and needy as akin to serving God. Both pledged to continue their impactful work.
The event saw the dignified presence of several esteemed individuals, including Shubham Harlarka, former President of the Ex-Servicemen Welfare Council Gaya Dat Pandey, and Manish Singh. The successful execution was attributed to the tireless efforts of team members from both organizations.
