BJP to observe seva saptah for PM Modi’s birthday on Sept 17

he Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Thursday said that it will observe a ‘Seva Saptah’ (service week) starting from today, September 14 to 20 for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday on September 17.

During this week, innumerable social initiatives have been planned across the nation by the saffron party cadres, BJP national general secretary Arun Singh, in a press conference, said.

“If there is anybody who can solve problems faced by the poor people in the country, it is Narendra Modi. Therefore, on September 17, which is Narendra Modi’s birthday, the BJP has decided to celebrate Sept 14-20 as ‘seva saptah’,” Arun Singh said.

The week-long event will be embarked by party chief and Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP working president JP Nadda at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital on September 14, the senior BJP leader said.

On September 14 at 8:00 am, Amit Shah will start the programme from AIIMS, along with JP Nadda. Amit Shah will distribute fruits, meet the patients in the general ward of the hospital and also oversee the cleaning and sanitation work there,” Arun Singh said.

Along with this, several exhibitions will also be showcased that will depict the social work done by PM Modi. These exhibitions will be organised in every district by BJP cadres to display the feat of the Central government under PM Modi’s leadership.
