Giridih is buzzing with excitement as the Birsa Munda Football Academy has officially inaugurated at Kiran Public School, Koladiha. The grand opening was graced by the Sub-Divisional Officer, Shrikanth Yashwant Vispute, who performed the ceremonial kick-off. Alongside him were school dignitaries, including Chairman Ashok Kumar Singh, Balwinder Singh Saluja, Purushottam Mishra, Principal Raghav Bhokta, Director Rajiv Ranjan Singh, and Jharkhand Football Association General Secretary Ghulam Rabbani. Local representative Nurul Hoda also participated in the inaugural football match. Addressing the young athletes, SDO Vispute emphasized the critical link between physical health and mental well-being, stating, “A healthy mind resides in a healthy body.” He lauded the establishment of the academy as a commendable initiative by the school chairman, expressing hopes that the trainees will bring national recognition to the school. Ghulam Rabbani further echoed these sentiments, predicting that the academy’s budding talents would shine at state, national, and even global levels, pledging the Jharkhand State Football Association’s full support. The school chairman highlighted the institution’s commitment to holistic development, mentioning the recent launch of a shooting range and upcoming basketball training for girls, alongside existing cricket facilities. This comprehensive approach aims to foster all-round growth in students.
