New National Education Policy will be implemented in this state from August: State Education Minister announced

Karnataka is going to become the first state to implement the new National Education Policy. The state’s primary and secondary education minister S Suresh Kumar has announced that a new national education policy will be implemented in Karnataka from August itself. 

The education minister, while speaking to video-conferencing Dr K Kasturirangan, chairman of the Draft National Education Policy Committee on Friday, said that the state government had drafted its own education policy which would now be merged into the new national education policy.

He also told former ISRO chairman K Kastunarirangan that the state education policy and national education policy will be merged by August 20, working fast to implement the new education policy.

Education Minister said that Karnataka will become the leading state in implementing new education policy. He further said that the new National Education Policy is a complete policy that has been prepared after 34 years in view of the future needs.

This will help in increasing the quality of education as well as creating employment opportunities and building a stable society. S Suresh Kumar said that Karnataka is keen to implement this new education policy.

Let us tell you that many big and important changes have been made in the new education policy, in which the graduate course has been changed to 4 years after ending MPhil.
