The birth of a child brings happiness in the family. But sometimes the arrival of the new born gives the parents a chance of happiness and also draws a line of worry on their forehead. The families of children born with congenital malformations start worrying about the future. Through the National Child Health Program (Viva Yojna) of the Health and Family Welfare Department, Chhattisgarh, the concerns of such children and their families are being removed by providing free check-up and complete treatment. Through the Chirayu Yojana (National Child Health Programme), 18 thousand 288 children who were suffering from various diseases have been fully treated in the state so far in the year 21-22. Apart from removing the problems of many families, this scheme has given new life to the suffering children. The child Khoshang Divya father Sanjay Divya of village Bhaneshar of Masturi block of Bilaspur district was born on 15th December 2015 at Community Health Center Masturi. Since the child was suffering from heart disease since birth, every effort was made by the parents to treat the child in many big hospitals but due to the large hole in the heart (VSD) of the child, the operation was complicated and surgery was possible in Chhattisgarh. Wasn’t. On being informed about the child by the Viva team of Masturi block, health check-up was done at home, the team was referred to Bilaspur for high level examination of the child. Seeing the complexity of the case, Khoshang was referred to Apollo Children’s Hospital, Chennai, a contracted hospital in Viva, for high-end treatment by a team of doctors. For the treatment of the child in the Refer Hospital by the team of doctors outside the state, arrangements were made for the treatment by taking necessary action through Viva Yojana. The first operation of Khoshang was done in July 2016 and the second operation was done in the year 2019. In the year 2022, the third and complex operation of Khoshank’s heart was also successfully done on 06 April 2022 in Chennai under Viva Yojana. The successful operation of the son and the smile on his face has given the parents confidence in their dreams. Under the National Child Health Program (VIVA), children from birth to 18 years who are suffering from any serious disease are given free treatment. Viva team conducts health check-up of children through schools and Anganwadi centers and marks the victims and registers them under Viva Yojana. These children are examined by the Viva team at a high level and are operated in the contracted hospitals. Like this:Like Loading… Continue Reading
