Due to the ongoing cold wave across North India, cold conditions continued in most parts on Saturday. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in the national capital fell to 3.9 degrees Celsius on Saturday. Similarly, Srinagar also recorded the lowest temperature of this season. At the same time, the temperature in Keylong in Himachal Pradesh went below zero at 12.1 degree Celsius.

Cold wave intensified in Punjab and Haryana and in Adampur, the mercury dropped to minus 1.9 degrees Celsius, the lowest recorded in both the states. Meanwhile, most parts of Rajasthan are also experiencing a cold winter and the minimum temperature in Mount Abu was minus 1.4 degree Celsius and in Churu it was minus 0.1 degree Celsius.

In most parts of India, the minimum temperature can remain 2-6 degrees Celsius below normal. The IMD was told that the cold wave continues in the national capital due to the icy winds blowing from the snow-covered Western Himalayan region.
