District Kabirdham is a peaceful and attractive place situated on the southern bank of the Sakri River. Due to the arrival of Kabir Sahib and the establishment of the seat of the descendants of his disciple Dharmadas, it was named Kabirdham. About 17 km from the district headquarters, Bhoramdev is a very important place historically and archaeologically. This place was the capital of Nagavanshi kings from the 9th century to the 14th century. After this, the Haiyavanshi kings belonging to the state Ratanpur came into the possession of this region. The temples built by these kings and the archaeological remains of the old fort are still available.
