Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel reviewed the development and construction works by holding a meeting of officials at the Balodabazar Collectorate premises after meeting and meeting the general public in villages Sarora and Puraina-Khapri of Balodabazar Assembly Constituency. The Chief Minister instructed the officials of the construction department to take special care of the quality and time period of the construction works. He said that there should not be any kind of negligence in construction works. The Chief Minister said that it is the responsibility of the administration to ensure that the benefits of the government’s schemes reach the eligible people. In the meeting, the Chief Minister also took information from the officials about the status of operation of the Gauthans built in the village under the Suraji Gaon Yojana. He said that the number of Gothans should be increased as per the demand. The Chief Minister also instructed to complete the construction of RIPA (Rural Industrial Park) in Gothans at a fast pace. He also instructed the youth of the village to take initiative to make them self-reliant by connecting them with other income generating activities including Ripa. The Chief Minister gave instructions to purchase cow dung regularly in Gothans as well as to speed up the work of production of electricity and paint from cow dung. He also inquired about the status of construction of roads, Mukhyamantri Suposhan Abhiyan, Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre, Mukhyamantri Haat Bazar Clinic Scheme, Jal Jeevan Mission. The Chief Minister instructed to get wall writing done for the promotion of health schemes and other welfare schemes. Instructions were given to the Mineral Officer to strictly stop illegal mining. The Chief Minister also reviewed the latest status of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, MNREGA, study-teaching status in schools, presence of teachers, redressal of revenue matters. In the meeting, Secretary Dr. S. Bharathidasan, Divisional Commissioner Mr. Yashanwat Kumar, Collector Mr. Rajat Bansal, Superintendent of Police and officers of all departments were present.
