Youth and Party Cadre Gather in Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh for Seva Sankalp Closure
Thousands of youth volunteers converged in Vadnagar and Varanasi on Wednesday to seal the BJP’s Seva Sankalp Yatra, a campaign commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of public service. The rally attracted members of the Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha, local civic groups, and senior citizens eager to partake in the final rituals.
Speakers—BJP chief Nitin Naik, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath, Assam chief minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, and BJYM national president Himanshu Joshi—highlighted how service has been the cornerstone of Modi’s leadership style. Their addresses called for sustained community involvement beyond the Yatra’s conclusion.
The Varanasi ceremony featured a symbolic ‘jalabhishekh’ at the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, while Vadnagar’s counterpart at the Hatkeshwar Mahadev Temple echoed the same spiritual gesture, linking the Prime Minister’s birthplace with his parliamentary seat.
The organisers outlined a roadmap for post‑Yatra action, urging participants to continue cleaning campaigns, afforestation drives, water‑conservation projects, cow‑care programs, and outreach to senior‑citizen homes, thereby cementing the movement’s legacy.
